24h soundwave, 2010

On 15 December 2010 I recorded an audio file of 24 hours with the use of a professional audio recorder wearing around my belt. It was hidden and it recorded every sound around me, conversations, school, my mom.

I launched a website named ’24h soundwave’ where you can listen back to audio file. I deleted parts that where private. Visitors of the website where no able to listen to it but where able to buy it for a certain price. The price was not based on the length but based on the amount of ‘privacy’ I gave it to. I sold them once with a license that you have all rights. The audio files costed between 5 and 550,- Euro.
